July 24, 2008
Be sure to reserve the date of Wednesday, October 22nd on your calendar. Our annual Seminar provides an unparalleled opportunity to learn the latest developments affecting the California workplace and obtain practical tools necessary to ensure continued compliance with the myriad of statues and court rulings impacting day-to-day employment practices in 2009.
This year, we are excited to present Phyllis Cheng, the Director of the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing as our Keynote lunch speaker. Appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger in January 2008, Director Cheng heads the largest state civil rights agency in the nation. Director Cheng will speak on her vision and new initiatives at the DFEH, as the Department celebrates its 50th anniversary and also provide insights into how the Department handles discrimination and harassment complaint.
